Our combined expertise provides powerful leadership for shepherding urban-mining programs – we are reshaping the way organics are managed.
PAUL SELLEW is CEO of Harvest Power Canada Ltd. and of Harvest Power, Inc. Paul has been a leader in the organics industry for more than 25 years. In 1982 he founded Earthgro, Inc., which grew to be the second largest producer of compost-based lawn and garden products in North America. Paul has also been a senior executive with Synagro, Inc., helping to build it into the leading organics residuals management business in the U.S. He has also founded and led International Process Systems, Inc. (composting technology provider), Allgro, Inc. (a bio-solids compost marketing firm), Environmental Credit Corp. (carbon credit creation and trading), and Backyard Farms (hydroponic greenhouse tomato producer). Paul graduated from the Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

NATHAN GILLILAND is Harvest’s Co-Founder and President. Nathan formerly was an Executive Vice President at Bain Capital, managing $2 billion in investments in utilities, power generation and consumer products. Prior to Bain, Nathan co-founded MyCounsel.com and managed strategic planning for Nutraceutical Corporation. Nathan was also a consultant at Bain & Company. Nathan earned his B.A. with Highest Honors from the University of California-Berkeley.

CYNTHIA MIGNOGNA is Harvest’s Chief Financial Officer. Cynthia has over 20 years of senior financial management experience in a variety of public and private technology companies, where her focus has been on high-growth situations and substantial corporate turnarounds. Most recently, Cynthia was a Principal at OpenView Venture Partners. Previously, Cynthia was Chief Financial Officer of the CodeGear division of Borland Software where she drove the successful divestiture and sale of CodeGear to Embarcadero Technologies in 2008. Cynthia has also served in executive positions including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Infoseek Corporation where she managed a $2 billion acquisition by the Walt Disney Company. Cynthia graduated with honors from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Economics.

JEFF KNAPP is Harvest’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. For over 20 years, Jeff has held Senior HR Leadership roles in a number of dynamic companies including ARAMARK and Take Care Health (a division of Walgreens). He specializes in helping organizations establish, accelerate and hardwire the changes necessary to create cultural and organizational excellence. Jeff earned a B.A. from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, M.Div. (summa cum laude) from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
JOHN EUSTERMANN is Harvest’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to joining Harvest’s executive team, John was a partner with the law firm of Stoel Rives, LLC, one of the leading renewable energy law firms in the U.S. John was the head of the firm’s biomass initiative, regularly listed in Best Lawyers of America and recognized as one of “America’s Leading Business Lawyers” by Chambers USA. John’s practice focused on project development and finance in the alternative fuels, renewable energy and clean technology sectors. John’s education consists of a J.D. from Seattle University in 1994, an M.B.A. from University of Notre Dame in 1989, and a B.A. from University of Notre Dame in 1987. John is admitted to practice in Idaho, California, Oregon and Washington.
