Author and Farmer Eliot Coleman Helps Organic Connections Series Finish on a High Note
June 19, 2012
It’s a bittersweet episode of Organic Connections this week as this round of Harvest’s thought leadership series comes to a close with a fantastic conversation with Eliot Coleman. Eliot is the author of The New Organic Grower, Four Season Harvest and The Winter Harvest Handbook. He has written extensively on the subject of organic agriculture since 1975. Eliot has more than 40 years’ experience in all aspects of organic farming, including field vegetables, greenhouse vegetables, rotational grazing of cattle and sheep, and range poultry.
Eliot has also recently been featured in the New York Times and Martha Stewart Living. In this interview he talks with us about his relationship with the soil, and how absolutely easy it is to grow good food. Check out his interview below:
Thanks for following our Organic Connections thought leadership series! We hope you learned something from these food, farming, policy and waste experts about the path organic materials take through North American society. This round of Organic Connections videos will remain up on our YouTube channel, so feel free to pass them on!
