New Organic Connections video with the Rodale Institute’s Jeff Moyer

In our latest Organic Connections thought leadership video, Jeff Moyer, the Farm Director of the Rodale Institute, talks about improving the health of the soil. It’s all connected: healthy soil, nutritious food and healthy communities. Organic crops are popular even with young kids! He loves showing 12-year-olds how they have the power to change wheat production in this country. With discussions of Community Supported Agriculture and food deserts, he connects the health of our soil with the strength of our communities.
Jeff has been Farm Director at the Rodale Institute – a Pennsylvania research nonprofit dedicated to organic farming – for nearly three decades. He has also served as chair of the USDA’s National Organic Standards Board and is a founding board member of Pennsylvania Certified Organic. He has worked to perfect an organic no-till system that reduces and even eliminates both tillage and herbicides.

Bonjour Paul! (Pardon. Ca fait longtemps que j’ai ecrit ou parle en français.) Merci pour ton message. Personanellement (est-ce que ca c’est un mot?) j’aime bien le practice biodynamie. Chaque jour que je met les semaines sur la terre je regarde le calendrier “Stella Natura” (c’est tous les choses biodynamique) a vers si c’est bien pour les herbes, les roots, ou les fruits, ou si c’est une mauvaise journee a tourner la terre. Je trouve que chaque année, chaque saison, il y a toujours quelque chose d’apprendre de nature, de la jardin. [Il faut que j'explique que c'est le position de moi meme, pas de le company. Harvest Power a des produits organiques bien sur, mais il n'y a pas des choses specifiquement biodynamique.]
