Our anaerobic digestion and wood gasification technologies produce clean, low-cost energy that can be converted into electricity, heat, and natural gas suitable for use in a variety of applications, including transportation fuel.
Combined Heat and Power (CHP) – the biogas or syngas is used in a combined heat and power unit to produce electricity and heat. The electricity can either be sold into the electric grid or used at an industrial site. The heat can be used for industrial processes or district heating.
Pipeline-grade natural gas – the biogas is cleaned to a methane content of 97% and sold into existing natural gas pipelines. These pipelines typically transport gas to be used for electricity production at a combined cycle power plant, for building heating, or for industrial use.
Compressed natural gas (CNG) – the biogas is cleaned to a methane content of 98% and compressed to 3000 psi to be used as a transportation fuel.
